How do I calculate percentage change?
Percentage change = ((New - Old) / Old) × 100. Example: from 50 to 75 = ((75-50)/50) × 100 = 50% increase.
What is the difference between percentage and percentage points?
Percentage is relative (10% increase from 50% = 55%). Percentage points are absolute (10 percentage points from 50% = 60%).
