Net salary = Gross salary - (Income tax + Social security + Health insurance + Other deductions). Tax rates vary by country and income bracket.

Gross salary is your total earnings before any deductions. Net salary (take-home pay) is what you actually receive after taxes and deductions are subtracted.

For full-time work: Hourly rate × 40 hours × 52 weeks = Annual salary. For example, $25/hour = $25 × 40 × 52 = $52,000 per year.
