GPA

GPA (Grade Point Average) is a numerical representation of your academic performance. It is calculated by dividing total grade points by total credits. The standard scale is 4.0, where A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0, D=1.0, F=0.0.

Multiply each grade point by its credit hours, sum all grade points, then divide by total credit hours. Example: (4.0×3 + 3.0×4) / 7 = 3.43 GPA.

A GPA of 3.0 or higher is generally considered good. 3.5+ is excellent and competitive for scholarships. 3.7+ is honors level. However, standards vary by institution and program.
