Age

Age is calculated by finding the difference between the current date and birth date, accounting for whether the birthday has occurred this year.

Different cultures count age differently. Western age starts at 0 at birth. Korean age starts at 1 and increases on New Year. Some use lunar calendars.

For months: count full months between dates. For days: subtract timestamps and divide by milliseconds per day (86400000).
